Plain cooked rice is safe and commonly recommended by veterinarians as part of a bland diet for dogs with digestive issues. White rice is easier to digest; brown rice has more fiber and nutrients.

For a Weimaraner (55–90 lbs), use the standard serving guidance, adjusting to your individual dog's weight and any breed-specific sensitivities.
Weimaraners are at risk for bloat (GDV). Avoid feeding large amounts of any new food at once, and don't give treats right before or after exercise.
