Can Bernese Mountain Dogs Eat Avocado?
The flesh of ripe avocado is not highly toxic to dogs, but the pit, skin, and leaves contain persin, which can cause vomiting and diarrhea. The high fat content can also trigger pancreatitis.
🐕 Bernese Mountain Dog-Specific Guidance
Bernese Mountain Dogs are a giant breed (70–115 lbs), so they can tolerate slightly larger portions, but moderation still applies.
